My Tunes is up and running!

Ahhhh...

A few hours of reading tutorials bla bla bla...i finally have got this music player up and running...yup...look to my sidebar, you will find a section called 'My Tunes'...it's a flash based music player i managed to put courtesy of http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/ <-- Thanks!!

What did i learn in this process? Hmm...i guess the more important lesson is creating a .xspf playlist file....phew..glad that's over =)

So, what songs have i put on my tunes? Here are some details:

1- california dreaming ( by mamas and papas) - its a hippie song...i first heard of it in this funky techno song featuring the global deejays...then during NCG 2006, the Idols from Queensland sang this song...which was a reaally cool performance...and they modified the song to 'Kuala Lumpur Dreaming'...hehehe...

3- Wisemen (by James Blunt) - another nice song by James Blunt...needs no intro

4- Manchester United classic song - whoaahh...i found this one night as i was browsing for soccer supporter songs (and of coz i start with Man Utd =P ), to give inspiration to create NSW supporter song for NCG...hehe...i think its from the 50's or 60's...really cacat, but funny =P

5- White Daisy Passing (by Rocky Votolato) - now, i dont know this singer...let alone his songs...how did i find this song? well, after watching an episode of the OC...as usual, i went searching for some nice songs featured, and this one is featured on that particular episode...really nice song...

6- Feng (by Jay Chou) - this is one of my all time fav masterpiece from Jay Chou...call it jiwang..but it certainly is nice to layan on a cold and lonely night, when there's nothing to do...hehe...

7- For The Widows In Paradise, For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti (by Sufjan Stevens) - welll....hehe...this is the same case as 'white daisy passing' above...OC really picks nice songs...hehe... (note to Shim - dont comment about me and OC)

8- Wo Men Yi Jia Dou Shi Ren (by Ah Niu) - aaa...Ah Niu...a Malaysian chinese singer...he sings really nice and funny songs...this is one of it. Direct translation of the tittle means 'All us in the family are human'...its a jumble of 'Wo Men Dou Shi Yi Jia Ren' - meaning, we are all family... it sez that we malaysians can be from different races and religious belief, but in the end, we shud all realize that we are all part of a big family =)
